Coaching centres may face action for exorbitant fees

New guidelines by the education ministry aim to regulate coaching centres, which can face fines or cancellation of registration for charging exorbitant fees that contribute to student suicides. The guidelines also prohibit centres from hiring tutors with convictions and require the registration of each branch as a separate entity.
