Hyundai acquires GM’s Talegaon plant, Rs 6,000cr MoU signed

Hyundai Motor India acquires General Motors India’s Talegaon Plant in Maharashtra as part of its expansion strategy. The acquisition boosts Hyundai’s cumulative production capacity to 1 million units and aligns with the ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ initiative. The company plans to invest Rs 6,000 crore in the state and commence production at the plant in 2025.
