‘Undemocratic idea’: Cong opposes ‘one nation, one election’

Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge, strongly opposed the concept of ‘One Nation One Election’ in India, terming it “undemocratic.” In a letter to the high-level committee for ‘One Nation One Election,’ Kharge called for its dissolution, asserting that the idea goes against federalism and the Constitution’s basic structure. He expressed concern about the committee’s biased composition.
