Record 11 women get Supreme Court’s senior advocate tag

Supreme Court designates record 11 women as senior advocates, bringing the total to 18 women lawyers designated since 1966. The full court, led by CJI D Y Chandrachud, designates 56 lawyers as senior advocates, including 11 women. The selection committee, for the first time, includes a woman member, Kiran Suri.
