Amazon gets notice for selling sweets as Ram Mandir prasad

​Central consumer protection authority (CCPA) on Friday slapped a notice on e-commerce giant Amazon for selling sweets under the name “Shri Ram Mandir Ayodhya Prasad” and concealing details of the manufacturers, and allowing them to make misleading claims. An Amazon spokesperson said, “We have received a communication from CCPA regarding misleading product claims by certain seller(s) and investigating them for violations.”
