Google is cutting more jobs, this time at its X Labs

Alphabet’s moonshot factory X is restructuring, turning to outside investors to fund projects. The X lab will spin out projects as independent startups with support from Alphabet and outside backers. Layoffs will focus on support staff, with a shift towards leaner teams and market-based funding.
