Huawei, Tencent, and Baidu come together to develop standards for China’s metaverse industry

China’s MIIT forms working group to develop metaverse industry standards. Members include Huawei, Tencent, NetEase, Baidu, Ant, and Lenovo, along with MIIT officials and researchers from Peking University and Fudan University. The group aims to establish and promote industry standards, both domestically and internationally.
