Strategically crucial Sela tunnel all set for inauguration

PM Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Sela tunnel, the world’s longest bi-lane tunnel at an altitude above 13,000 feet, in Arunachal Pradesh. The tunnel will enhance all-weather connectivity to Tawang and Kameng regions, reduce travelling distance, and address tactical military disadvantages. Earlier, the route to Sela pass had only single-lane connectivity.
