Ex-CM Manish Khanduri’s son quits Congress, may join BJP

In a surprising development ahead of the Lok Sabha elections, Manish Khanduri, the son of former Uttarakhand chief minister Major General B C Khanduri (retd), stepped down from the Congress party on Friday. Through a social media announcement, Manish said that he is stepping down from the primary affiliation with the Indian National Congress and relinquishing all affiliated responsibilities.
