Lok Sabha elections: Snubbed by TMC in West Bengal, Congress hits back at Mamata Banerjee’s ‘unilateral’ move

Trinamool Congress announced candidates for all 42 Lok Sabha seats in West Bengal, ending speculation of seat-sharing arrangement with the INDIA bloc. Congress criticized the unilateral decision. Congress and the TMC had been trying to figure out a seat-sharing arrangement in Bengal for months, but TMC refused to allot the Congress more than 3 seats.
