Lalu backs Muslim quota, PM Modi says it exposes oppn’s intent

PM Narendra Modi on Tuesday seized upon RJD boss and former Bihar CM Lalu Prasad’s statement supporting “full reservations” for Muslims, and said his charge that Congress and its partners had a hidden agenda to introduce faith-based quota was vindicated. Claiming vindication, he said he could read the intent of Congress and its partners because of their dependence on the politics of votebanks and appeasement.
