Cong to send team to probe claims of killing of ‘Naxals’ in C’garh village

The Opposition Congress in Chhattisgarh is planning to send an eight-member fact-finding committee, which includes four legislators, to Pidiya village in Bastar’s Bijapur. The purpose of the visit is to investigate the allegations made by villagers that security forces killed 12 tendu collectors in a staged encounter on May 10 and falsely claimed they were Maoists.
