‘It’s tough times…’: Afridi opens up on Pakistan’s WC exit
Babar Azam, the skipper of Pakistan, led his team to a narrow three-wicket win against Ireland in their final T20 World Cup encounter. His undefeated knock of 31 runs from 34 deliveries, combined with Shaheen Shah Afridi’s stellar bowling performance of 3 wickets for 22 runs, secured the victory for Pakistan. However, the win was not enough for Pakistan to advance in the tournament, as they finished third in their group. Ireland, on the other hand, ended up at the bottom of the standings, having earned a solitary point from their rain-affected match against the USA.
