SIT calls for tweaks in Gujarat Police Act after Rajkot inferno

The Special Investigation Team (SIT) investigating the Rajkot TRP Gaming Zone Inferno case has recommended amendments to section 33 of the Gujarat Police Act. The 100-page interim report highlighted negligence by police, RMC, and R&B officials in adhering to regulations after a fire claimed 27 lives on May 25.
