Actor clicks on link to update KYC for PAN card, loses Rs 1.5L

Bollywood actor-producer Aftab Shivdasani lost Rs1.5 lakh from his bank account after falling for a fraudulent link to update Know Your Customer (KYC) details. He received a message stating that his account would be suspended if he didn’t update his PAN card details and clicked on the link provided. As soon as he clicked on the link, he received a call asking for his banking M-Pin, following which the money was siphoned from his account. The cyber wing of the Bandra police is investigating the case.
