Adopt organic farming to protect soil health: Guv

Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar has urged farmers to switch to organic farming in order to combat the negative effects of excessive use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides on the soil. Speaking at a natural farming conference in Samastipur district, Arlekar emphasized the need for natural farming to produce safe food for humans, animals, and birds. Former Union agriculture minister Radha Mohan Singh also emphasized the importance of organic farming for self-sufficiency and food security. The conference was attended by scientists and agriculture experts.
