AFT judge pushes for pension payments, shifted to Kolkata

The Supreme Court on Monday took serious note of alleged strong-arm tactics adopted by the ministry of defence in shunting out Justice Dharam Chand Chaudhary from Armed Forces Tribunal Chandigarh to Kolkata for initiating contempt proceedings against ministry officials accused of not implementing for six years the orders for payment of pensions to certain retired Naib Subedars of Army.
