Air fares to Ahmedabad remain unmatched for Indo-Pak WC match

Cricket fans planning to travel to Ahmedabad for the India-Pakistan face-off at the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 will face high costs. Hotels are sold out or retailing at premium tariffs, and airfares have jumped 415% for inbound flights to Ahmedabad. Flights from various destinations will cost between Rs 5,500 and Rs 12,000 per person for a round trip. Additionally, hotels have charged as high as Rs 80,000 per room per night. Travel operators are recommending additional flight deployment to meet the high demand.
