Azam Khan, kin get 7 years in jail in fake DoB case

Senior Samajwadi Party leader Azam Khan, his wife Tazeen Fatima, and son Abdullah Azam have been convicted in a fake birth certificate case and sentenced to seven years in jail. The court in Uttar Pradesh’s Rampur district also imposed a fine of Rs 50,000 on them. Abdullah’s membership was revoked after it was discovered that he had forged his age in the 2017 state polls.
