Banda boat tragedy: 17 still missing, UP CM sends 2 ministers to oversee rescue ops

The boat carrying at least 35 passengers was going from Marka to Jarauli Ghat in Fatehpur district when it sank in the Yamuna river at 3 pm on Thursday. Most of the passengers were going to celebrate Rakshabandhan. While 15 of them, including the boatman, Babu Nishad, were either rescued or swam to safety, the rescue workers fished out three bodies on Thursday.
