Bharti Airtel may buy another ‘loss-making’ Tata Group company

Bharti Airtel is in advanced talks with Tata Group to acquire Tata Play, aiming to consolidate its digital TV presence and enhance bundled offerings. This acquisition follows Bharti’s 2017 purchase of Tata’s consumer mobility business and addresses the growing competition and decline in DTH services due to OTT platforms.
