Bishnoi interview: 7 Punjab cops punished for ‘dereliction of duty’

The Punjab government has suspended seven police officers for negligence after gangster Lawrence Bishnoi conducted an interview from custody. The interview took place via video-conferencing while Bishnoi was in the custody of the CIA in Kharar, Mohali district. A Special Investigation Team led by special DGP Prabodh Kumar identified these officers’ failures.
