BJP’s ‘damage control’ panel reaches out to ticket hopefuls

The BJP in Rajasthan has formed a ‘damage control’ committee to address the discontent among ticket aspirants who were denied nominations. The committee is reaching out to disgruntled leaders, including Narpat Singh Rajvi, the son-in-law of former vice-president Bhairon Singh Shekhawat. Senior leaders have met with Rajvi to dissuade him from taking an anti-party stand.
