‘Burn injuries, nose broken’: Army officer, wife assault minor house help

According to Dima Hasao SP Mayank Kumar, the 16-year-old girl had been employed at the Army officer’s residence for the past two years, enduring physical abuse for approximately one year. “Burn injuries, bruises and head injuries have been spotted on her body. Doctors have also found teeth, nose and ear of the victim broken. The condition of the girl is critical and she is undergoing treatment,” he said.
