Cajugotto cut off as water erases its only road

A dirt road connecting the remote village of Cajugotto in Goa has been washed away due to heavy rain, leaving the village cut off. The road was the only access point to the hamlet, and its destruction has caused difficulties for the villagers, particularly students who must trek 6km to the nearest high school. The local minister has visited the site and instructed for immediate repairs to be carried out. The lack of a proper road has also resulted in limited access to healthcare facilities for the village.
