‘Maldives not to renew pact with India for hydrographic surveys’

Maldivian president Mohamed Muizzu has announced that the country will not extend its agreement with India for conducting hydrographic surveys. Instead, Maldives plans to independently carry out the surveys to maintain sovereignty over its Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ).
