Cauvery brims, but no drinking water in several Trichy wards

Over 50,000 cusecs of water flows in Cauvery touching both banks in Trichy city and even causing flooding, yet a section of residents are peeved at being denied drinking water for the past few days. Claiming that Trichy corporation did not give prior intimation about suspension of drinking water, they said they are buying water through private water trucks.
