Cauvery row: Call for B’luru bandh on Tues

Multiple pro-farmer and pro-Kannada organizations have called for a complete ‘Bengaluru bandh’ on September 26 to protest the state government’s decision to release Cauvery water to Tamil Nadu. The bandh is expected to disrupt normal life in the IT hub, with support from transport organizations and opposition parties. The organizers have requested cooperation from IT companies, schools, colleges, manufacturing industries, and transport bodies. There has been no response from the government yet, and there are talks of a possible ‘Karnataka bandh’ in the future.
