Centre approves 4% hike in DA for central govt employees

The Centre on Wednesday approved a 4% hike in Dearness Allowance (DA) for central government employees. With this decision, the DA for central government employees will increase to 46% from the existing 42%. The decision will benefit over one crore employees and pensioners.
