Centre may put hoax callers on no-fly list for 5 years

The civil aviation ministry is reevaluating measures like placing individuals behind hoax bomb threats on a ‘no-fly’ list for five years and amending the Aircraft Act, 1934 with stricter penalties. Despite the Lok Sabha passing the Bharatiya Vayuyan Vidheyak, 2024, dedicated provisions for hoax threats aren’t yet included.
