Centre probes Mumbai, Navi Mumbai airports’ books

The Indian government has launched an investigation into the financial records of the Adani group-operated Mumbai International Airport Ltd (MIAL) and the Navi Mumbai airport. The investigation covers the period from 2017-18 to 2021-22. Adani Enterprises, the parent company of MIAL and Navi Mumbai International Airport Limited (NMIAL), confirmed receiving communications from the Ministry of Corporate Affairs regarding the initiation of the investigation.
