Centre’s `38crore aid for violence-hit farmers

Extending its assistance to farmers affected by the ongoing ethnic strife and taking into account the inadequate monsoon rains in Manipur, the ministry of home affairs (MHA) has approved release of Rs 38 crore as crop compensation package for the state.
