CEO Deepinder Goyal shares the story behind the name Zomato

Deepinder Goyal, founder and CEO of Zomato, recently appeared on The Great Indian Kapil Show and revealed the story behind his company’s name. Initially, Goyal wanted to name it “tomato.com” but couldn’t secure the domain name. He then changed one letter, and “Zomato” was born.
