Charas worth Rs 1.25 crore seized, two arrested

Two individuals were arrested on the Raxaul-Motihari highway in East Champaran district, Bihar, after police intercepted them and discovered 4.98kg of charas, worth approximately Rs 1.25 crore, in their possession. The suspects, Lalji Das and Keshwar Das, are believed to be part of a narcotics smuggling syndicate operating on the India-Nepal border. They allegedly procure charas and other narcotics from Nepal and supply them to customers in Bihar’s major towns.
