Chennai court denies bail to Senthil Balaji

Minister V Senthil Balaji has been denied bail by the Chennai Principal Sessions Court. He was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate in a jobs-for-cash scam. The court stated that considering the seriousness of the offense, the evidence against the petitioner, and his failure to satisfy the conditions of Section 45 of the PMLA, bail cannot be granted. The court also mentioned the possibility of influencing witnesses and tampering with evidence as reasons to deny bail.
