China sends military aircraft, 3 ships around Taiwan despite typhoon Koinu alert

The defence ministry of Taiwan tracked one Chinese military aircraft and three navy vessels as Typhoon Koinu approached the country. The aircraft and vessels were reportedly spotted, but there was no indication that they crossed the Taiwan Strait’s middle line or entered Taiwan’s Air Defence Identification Zone.
