China’s videos shows ‘provocative’ actions by US ship

China’s military has released video footage accusing a US warship of “provocative” actions in the South China Sea. The video shows the USS Ralph Johnson allegedly conducting close-in harassment against a Chinese navy task group. China claims that the US warship made sharp turns, crossed the bow of a Chinese ship, and dangerously approached Chinese navy vessels. The Chinese Defense Ministry has labeled the US as the “real provoker” and threatened to take necessary measures to safeguard national sovereignty.
