Coach Schopman ‘will be asked to explain’ women’s hockey failure

Following India’s disappointing semifinal defeat against China, Hockey India (HI) has expressed its concern over the performance of Janneke Schopman, the head coach of the women’s hockey team. This loss shattered India’s hopes of securing a gold medal, which would have also guaranteed them a spot in the Paris 2024 Olympics as the champions of the continent.
