Colin Farrell open to returning as Penguin if season 2 happens: “I’d consider it”

​Director Matt Reeves noted that Farrell’s deep commitment made a strong impression on the cast and crew. Farrell’s co-stars even remarked they felt they didn’t meet the “real” Colin on set because of his total immersion in Oz Cobb. Farrell himself admitted that while the role was thrilling, it was also psychologically demanding, especially given the brutal and complex nature of the character.
