Complete retreat of monsoon from Maha likely on Oct 11: IMD

The Southwest monsoon is expected to withdraw from more areas in Maharashtra by Monday, covering 85% to 90% of the state. The monsoon will only be active over certain regions for the next few days. Day temperatures have risen due to the withdrawal of the monsoon, resulting in fewer clouds and winds. This condition is expected to persist for the next couple of weeks. The break in rainfall will benefit farmers in completing the harvesting process for Kharif crops.
