Congress MLA among 6 convicted in Karnataka iron ore scam

A special court in Bengaluru found Satish Sail, Karwar’s Congress MLA, and five others guilty in the Rs 250-crore Belekeri port scam related to the theft and export of iron ore seized between 2006-07 and 2010-11. The judge directed the CBI to take the convicts into custody.
