Cop, towing staffer attack 17-year-old in Navrangpura

A 17-year-old boy in Ahmedabad was allegedly attacked by a traffic cop and a member of a towing staff after his friend’s scooter was towed away. The cop and his aide allegedly demanded a bribe of Rs 300 to release the vehicle. When the boy’s father arrived at the scene, the cop refused to release his son and threatened to implicate him in a case. The incident has led to an FIR being filed against the accused, but they are yet to be arrested.
