Cops will probe Hamas leader’s virtual address: Pinarayi
Kerala Police will investigate how a former Hamas chief appeared on a large screen to address a pro-Palestine event in Malappuram. The event was organized by the Solidarity Youth Movement, and the speech was reportedly recorded. Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan stated that legal action against attendees of the rally would not work in Kerala, as the state has always stood with Palestine. Solidarity Youth Movement officials claimed that the video address was a pre-recorded message for all Palestine solidarity events in Kerala. They also stated that Hamas is a resistance movement and not designated as a terrorist organization by India or the UN.
