Dalit boys thrashed, tonsured and paraded over alleged ‘wheat theft’ in UP

Two poultry farm owners in Bahraich, Uttar Pradesh, allegedly thrashed and humiliated three Dalit boys, accusing them of stealing wheat. The boys faced physical abuse and public shaming. A police case has been filed against the accused under multiple charges. The victims’ families claim the boys were punished for not reporting to work, not for theft.
