DDA to open outdoor area of Roshanara Club soon

The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has informed the Delhi High Court that it plans to open the outdoor area of Roshanara Club, which it had recently sealed. The DDA clarified that while the ownership of the century-old club would be with the land-owning agency, the club itself would remain the same. The DDA’s statement came during the hearing of a contempt petition filed by Roshanara Club Ltd against the agency for sealing the premises. The court will continue to hear the case next week.
