Debt-hit CRPF jawan abducts kid for ransom, kills him in Gujarat

A CRPF constable, Shailendra Rajput, has been arrested for the kidnapping and murder of his neighbor’s eight-year-old son in Ankleshwar, Gujarat. Driven by a debt of Rs 16 lakh incurred from stock market losses, Rajput kidnapped the child and demanded a ransom of Rs 5 lakh.
