‘Deeply concerned’: India on Israel-Hamas war at UN

India has called for both Israel and Hamas to de-escalate the ongoing conflict and avoid violence. The country expressed deep concern over the worsening security situation and the loss of civilian lives. India has supported a negotiated two-state solution to the Israel-Palestine issue and urged the parties to work towards creating conditions for peace negotiations. India also strongly denounced the Hamas attacks on Israel and called for the immediate release of hostages.
