The new flyover at Sarai Kale Khan in Delhi is set to open soon after the completion of construction work this month. The project, undertaken by the Public Works Department, aims to ease traffic flow on Ring Road. The flyover will provide a signal-free corridor, saving commuters time and fuel. It is expected to reduce CO2 emissions by five tonnes daily. The area is already a critical transport hub with a railway station, a metro station, and an ISBT, and the new flyover will further accommodate the increasing traffic load.
