Demand grows to replan exit, entry to Yerawada Metro stn
Former corporators and residents of Yerawada in Pune are demanding changes to the design of the entry-exit point of the Yerawada Metro station in order to facilitate smoother traffic flow on Nagar Road. They claim that the existing design will reduce the width of one lane and affect the carrying capacity of the main road. The campaigners have suggested that the entry-exit point could be shifted to provide more space for vehicles. Maha Metro officials have said they will discuss the issue with the Pune Municipal Corporation and consider making changes.
