Domestic air passenger traffic to see a marginal dip in September versus August

According to a report by ICRA, domestic air passenger traffic in India for September is expected to be around 122 lakh, a decrease of 1.3% compared to August. However, it is still a 19% increase compared to September last year and 7% higher than pre-Covid levels in September 2019. The report also stated that the domestic aviation industry operated at a passenger load factor of 89% in September 2023.
